Student Creators

Classroom teachers help their students develop peer-tutoring videos. The videos are 2 to 10-minutes long and have older students teaching younger students. There are tutorial style micro-lessons with an emphasis on conceptual clarity. There is a consistent pedagogical framework: Focus, Relevance, In-depth, Exercise, Next, Done (FRIEND).

Fiercely Local

Language no longer a barrier for any child. The videos are in local languages, for Kyrgyzstan and other countries of Central Asia. Competency based content, including for mother tongue literacy.

FRee

Content is free on the internet for use in computers and mobile devices. Videos are loaded into basic smartphones as apps / memory cards. This means off-line view - connectivity no longer a barrier
